Evo Mental Health Medication Management allows members to receive care from a Nurse Practitioner that can help manage an existing medication that is treating Anxiety and/or Depression.
Evo members who are 18 years of age or greater, and who have an existing prescription for anxiety or depression, may use the Evo Mental Health Medication Management service. To be eligible, you must have taken your most recent dose of medication within the last four weeks, regardless of whether the prescription is expired. If you have been off your meds for more than four weeks, it is considered a new treatment and you are not eligible for Evo Mental Health Medication Management.
Prescriptions are typically written for 30 days. Refills require a follow-up visit and are issued at the provider's discretion.
Visits can be conducted by phone or video visit.
We cannot treat conditions such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, BPD, OCD, ADHD, ADD, or PTSD.
We do not prescribe controlled substances. We cannot issue referrals.
Does Evo use psychiatrists?
No. Evo utilizes nurse practitioners with experience treating anxiety and depression in a family practice setting. However, all of our protocols were developed by psychiatrists to be clinically sound.
Will I always see the same provider?
No. Evo uses a collaborative care model that allows our patients to be seen by multiple providers in the network. This allows patients to have much shorter wait times.
